I have strange things happening using the wiki-monkey sheet. Loss of right-hand but I love the big print. tx from the visually demented.

Abiezer, Alnedra and I just deleted a whole bunch of spam off here. If you see spam - please delete it. --gomichild afternoon tea time, 14 June 2007 (GomiTime)
Oh, crud. I don't understand why the stylesheet changes font after logging in. Now it's caused the sidebar to shrink which has made the logo too big for the sidebar so it encroaches onto the main content. WTF? --tracicle 22:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, and also, #2 and I upgraded Mediawiki two days ago and created a quick new MoFiWiki logo. That probably counts as news. --tracicle 22:04, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about the wiki stylesheet and lack of logo. I seem to have weird cookie issues with the wiki again since we moved it, also. I'll endeavour to re-fix it at some stage. Does anyone else find that they're logged in on some pages and not on others, and when they're logged in there is no stylesheet but when they're not logged in the stylesheet is still there? No? Just me? Okay then. --tracicle 02:40, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
I've rewritten the main page to make the wiki somewhat easier to navigate. I've listed categories, existing and imaginary, in the left-hand column. If anyone has some spare time, please feel free to assign categories to existing pages. If something doesn't obviously fit a category, don't make one up yet. Here's the Mediawiki page on adding items to categories.
The right-hand column is stuff that relates almost purely to the wiki. The Community Portal really belongs on the left, or maybe in a place all its own. I hope this makes it all much more user-friendly. We can discuss related issues on Talk:Current events, for the sake of keeping this page fairly clean.
I think I personally would like to keep this page to announce major changes to the wiki. Would that work for everyone? We can discuss this over at MonkeyFilter_Wiki:Request_for_comment/Current_events. Also, once we get a vague goal in mind -- which I think we're approaching -- I'd like to create a basic set of guidelines for the wiki, just discussing what counts as graffiti or spamming, that sort of thing. --WikiSysop 05:05, 22 May 2005 (EDT) aka User:tracicle
I've now categorised all categorisable pages, and not categorised all uncategorisable pages. The stuff that remains uncategorised is mostly random stuff that I'm not sure what to do with. I'll put the MonkeyMap pages somewhere eventually, definitely. I figure if a page can't be categorised according to the list on the main page, it probably doesn't belong on the Wiki. Exceptions, of course, can be made and should be, if they're likely to set an ongoing trend.
Not surprisingly, the wiki has declined in popularity. I'm unlikely to add it to the navbar because that leaves it wide open for spammers, although I'm aware that semi-defeats the purpose of having somewhere to self-link. It's a delicate balance. --WikiSysop 23:46, 21 Jun 2005 (EDT)
Still seeking hits: Tracicle's Nicknames have banded together and are marching on Congress to demand the return of "Happy Days" to our screens.
Nickdanger continues to procrastinate. Stay tuned for updates right after anyone checks the Daisy May thread.
