These URLs are the contents of a post and subsequent comments that Forksclovetofu posted on May 9, 2005 to MoFi. Please feel free to add comments, mini-reviews, links to larger reviews, other blogs, or anything that you feel improves the list. The category names are from the bold words in Forksclovetofu's descriptions.

What you won't find in here are file directories without commentary or sites offering a full album that is currently in print. Audioblogging is not about piracy; it's about selectively sharing sounds.

It is also not about sites that only very occasionally feature music or sites that post links to music that is hosted on another site. Unless that site has excellent writing or something to add to the music, these sorts of musicblogs are generally avoided.

The areas where this list is particularly weak are the bands and labels, etc. sections. These have mostly been populated by artists and record companies that have expressly requested inclusion into this lists. Undoubtedly there are thousands of additional artists with music on their page that could be added. This is the most useful expansion of new sites.

Forksclovetofu's personal site, The Tofu Hut also has new music for download and offers continually updated information on MP3 blogs. He is largely responsible for the accumulation of the links below, so thanks (and, if you wish, donations) are due to him. He appreciates it, as he is hungry.
