What does this have to do with MoFi? — fuyugare 05:48, 5 May 2005 (EDT)
- I dunno... what are we supposed to post here? -Rolypolyman 11:16, 5 May 2005 (EDT)
When did monkeys start to delete things? I thought we just piled poo on them and went on to more fun stuff?
We got two ideas about what this is supposed to be. Some of us are looking at this as a utility for making mofi things more efficient, some of us are looking at it like it's a toy. Count me among the latter and make my vote "keep." -Nickdanger 09:41, 6 May 2005 (EDT)

The point is that it' *funny*. And anything becomes less funny once you start pointing at it and saying "hey guys, look, a joke!". The moment of disorientation where you're trying to figure out "is this a joke or is it serious?" is an integral part of the humor. Once we start explaining our jokes, whether innies or outies, we start killing them. -Nickdanger 22:55, 7 May 2005 (EDT)
I think it's pretty funny, but I also think that, in the current discussion of what/for whom the wiki is, that, above everything else, good categorization is the key. I'm inclined to think that things like this can go into some category like "miscellany" or the like, or even probably more appropriately, would better be on rolypolyman's personal site and linked from either Personal Projects, his User Page, or both.
So I guess my vote is moving it under rolypolyman's user page, an appopriately labelled "misc" category or delete. Again, the Philco page is funny, but that's what our own sites are for. With appropriate links, of course. --Chimaera 12:08, 9 May 2005 (EDT)
- I'm leaving this page as is. If, in the future, people agree that it needs to be filed under the user's page, it can be brought back here for a new discussion. --tracicle 04:01, 10 May 2005 (EDT)
- What if the Philco page is essentially: "Here's a bizarre joke, improve on it and make it funnier if you like." Would that still be appropriate for a User Page even if I'm casting it out as public domain? --Rolypolyman 14:57, 10 May 2005 (EDT)
