Do we really want this nastiness on the Wiki (not that it isn't funny)?

I didn't actually see the links on here before. I assumed it was being used as a proper recipe page. How about we just remove the links and leave it for real recipes?

I don't, so I edited it to get rid of the bile, after waiting a long time to see if anyone else would notice. We haven't memorialized any other self linkers in the same way, even though they were way more self serving, so this seemed especially cruel.

On the other hand, I don't thnk people will post recipes here since the wiki doesn't get a lot of attention. If pressure were put on to post recipes here rather than in threads, I believe we'd have a few posters and few to no readers. Since my love of cooking is a love of sharing old and new discoveries, I would feel as though I were posting into the void. If I can't cook for you, I would like to be able to give you the presents of recipies I love. Why would I want to do that if no one would try them?

Quid and others were dismissive to argumentative about the soup thread. So, how is punctuation more important. Don't get me wrong, I loved quid's punctuation thread, but how was it more useful than the soup thing?

It wasn't. "Dismissive"? Pfft. Opportunity to tease tracicle? JA-WOHL! --The quidnunc kid 12:50, 22 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Also, a recipe page is an awesome idea, whether it's linked to often or not. In fact, I'm going to put in my chocolate brownie recipe, so there. --tracicle 21:38, 22 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Well, where is it then? 9 months later and I see no brownie recipe.

Whatever happened to the thread where tacicle (I think) was going to host a 1970s party? Surely a classic! My cheeseball recipies, alone, were worth the price of admission.

Fine, fine. I added it. :P --tracicle 01:19, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
