What I'm currently doing,

Working in a business library in Singapore. I got my driver's license in August 2007, on my first try. Wahey!

What I'd like to be doing

Can't really say. Going out with a nice, intelligent guy. Having regular sex. Ie., getting on with life.

What's going on

I used to see dead people*. I think I still do, but less frequently. And I think my guardian angel comes and smacks me on the head sometimes for doing something stupid.

• Short explanation: My paternal grandmother, my father and I are able to see supernatural things, i.e. ghosts. The ability is usually strongest when young, and peters out as we grew older. I haven't seen anything in over a year now, for instance, where I used to see things every few months when I was a freshman.

Longer explanation: There was a ghost in my childhood home, a mistress who had died in a miscarriage in the apartment before my family moved in. My father could see her, as she tried to strangle my pregnant mom in her sleep almost every night. After I was born, everyone thought she had gone. But I saw her quite frequently when I was alone at home, just smiling at me. Nice lady, and looked quite alot like my paternal grandmother. My family didn't know about this until about five years after we moved out, and I got severely frightened by another ghost while out with some friends, and returned home totally shaken. I have seen women walk by me in the mirror, but no one was there; shadows on the ground but no one there to cast them, which flowed right past me as if someone had walked by; gotten hit in the chest and back by nothing visible; and during the Seventh Lunar Month (a time which Chinese believe ghosts come out from Hell to roam around for a month) had insomnia because I could hear people walking to and fro in my room at night. Stuff like that.
